Get off the tourist track and join an unforgettable 3.5 hour food journey through two of historic Barcelona’s most famous and charming neighbourhoods – the medieval Born and the fishermen’s quarter of Barceloneta. This Barcelona tapas tour is a collaboration with the ranked number 1 on Trip Advisor Devour Food Tour Guides, thanks to which we have designed an accessible itinerary maintaining the exact same quality standards.
Your morning begins with local cava sparkling wine and a classic Barcelona sandwich in a wonderful deli run by two brothers, before heading to the iconic Santa Caterina Market (think of it as the Boqueria Market, but for locals) for delicious cheeses and cured meats from long-time vendors. You’ll then wind through the twisting lanes of the 13th-century Born neighbourhood, nipping into hidden gems (including a 150-year-old gourmet shop with a special secret) before heading to the timeless seaside fisherman’s quarter of Barceloneta where you will enjoy the best local tapas in town.
This tour does not require a high amount of walking or wheeling, and it can also be completely tailor-made based on each person preferences. The itinerary also avoids steps and it follows a mostly flat path along the Tour.
