Álava is a province located in the north of Spain and in the south of the Basque Country. This region is known and characterized by its gastronomy and culture, since it allows you to enjoy its pintxos and spectacular wines in an idyllic setting. It is a place where nature and rural life prevail, but it is also the cradle of cities such as Vitoria-Gasteiz, capital of the province and an exemplary of urban design that preserves a medieval quarter where it is possible to find innumerable places with a traditional flavor. Another of the essential towns in the region is Laguardia, famous throughout the world fot its wines, and for being the birthplace of the fabulist Samaniego.
