Discover this accessible Valencia City of Arts Turia Gardens and La Albufera tour and discover the city’s famous sights including the spectacular City of Arts and the Sciences, where we’ll see the largest aquarium in Europe Science museum. We will visit one of the main attractions of the city, Turia Gardens, an urban natural park. Finally, we will explore the beautiful Albufera National Park.
First in this tour, we will experience the modern masterpiece of City of Arts and the Sciences. We will stroll along the length of this futuristic complex designed by celebrated Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava. We will enjoy the Príncipe Felipe Science Museum and the Oceanogràfic, the largest aquarium in Europe Science, where there are about 45,000 specimens of 500 different species, such as dolphins, belugas, sea lions, seals, penguins or sharks.
Afterwards, we will visit Turia Gardens, one of the largest and accessible urban natural parks in Spain. It was built on the old bed of the Turía River, which was diverted to avoid the continuous flooding suffered by the city. This immense garden connects the African savannah, faithfully recreated in the Bioparc, with the underwater world and the ecosystems that can be visited in the Oceanogràfic, or with the spectacular opera auditorium, the Palau de les Arts, both in the City of the Arts and Sciences.
Finally, on our Valencia City of Arts Turia Gardens and La Albufera tour, we will visit the Albufera National Park, where the local guide will tell us about the history and traditions of the area and its inhabitants. Here we will learn about the unique natural environment of these wetlands and their flora and fauna. Then, we will return to the Port of Valencia.
