We will get to know Tenerife’s traditional gastronomy as we visit some of its wine cellars and Guachinches, traditional wine-maker establishments where we will eat delicious food and drink −and buy− their wine, both made from the heart.
This tour starts at our first Guachinche on our tour, where you will taste 3 different wines (red, white, and rosé) paired with an assortment of Canarian cheeses. Afterwards, we will visit a second guachinche located in Santa Úrsula, where we will try delicious starters such as: roasted cheese with mojo sauce, escaldón, papas arrugadas with mojo sauce, and ropa vieja, a pretty famous dish along the Canary Islands.
Later, we will have a guided walk around a Ecobanana plantation with the plantation owner to accompany you and provide fascinating insights about banana cultivation and sustainable living. During the tour, we will learn how they have managed to create their own ecosystem and be 95% self-sufficient.
