Discover the highlights of Menorca with our wheelchair accessible full day tour of the island of Menorca and enjoy a unique sightseeing experience. We will explore the beautiful towns of Fornells, Mahón and Binibeca with an official local guide. Also, we will enjoy the beautiful views of Monte Toro Viewpoint.
This experience starts with a panoramic visit of Monte Toro, the highest point of Menorca with 358 meters. From there we will see the entire contour of the island and explore from outside the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Monte Toro, built in the 17th century on top of a Gothic church. Afterwards, we will visit Fornells, a charming fishing village which takes pride in its gastronomic reputation and its beautiful sea promenade teeming with inviting restaurants where we will taste lobster stew, one of the typical Menorcan dishes par excellence. Near the urban cove is the remains of the Castle of Sant Antoni, built around 1614, to defend Menorca from pirate attacks.
We will visit Mahón, the capital of Menorca, where we will stroll through the port and the old town, which boasts a melting pot of many historical buildings like the church of Saint Mary which treasures one of Europe’s most important organs, the picturesque fish market and the former Carmelite Cloister which houses the food market. Also, we will visit the Teatro Principal, one the oldest active opera theatres of Europe.
As the last stop on this wheelchair accessible full day tour of the island of Menorca, we will visit the small fishing village of Binibeca, whose charm lies in its houses so perfectly interspersed with its very narrow streets, which give the appearance of being inside a fun labyrinth. Finally, we will return to Port of Menorca.
