This full day tour of Jerez And Cadiz includes a fully guided tour, in which you will learn about the culture, art, and traditions of Cadiz, including the Cádiz Cathedral, which is visible from any point of the city and whose crypt is the tomb of emblematic gaditanos personalities in Spain such as the artists Manuel de Falla and José María Pemán. Your guide will start the tour through Plaza de España and El Pópulo, which dates back to the 13th century and boasts the title of Cadiz’s oldest neighborhood. Alongside your experienced local guide, you will stroll through the barrio’s unique atmosphere and visit landmarks such as the Roman Theater from the outside, the City Hall, and the Cadiz Cathedral, recognizable by its golden-hued dome.
Later, we will visit Jerez de la Frontera to discover its precious horses and dressage tradition. At the Palacio Duque de Abrantes, we will enjoy one of the most refined shows in the world, “How Andalusian horses dance”, an equestrian ballet accompanied by quintessential Spanish music and 18th century styled costumes, all put together and choreographed using movements based upon Classical Dressage, Doma Vaquera and traditional equestrian chores. The main stage where the show takes place, has an adapted area for wheelchair users to view the spectacle; this area is accessed through a lift and the entrance to the venue has level floor access. After enjoying this full day tour of Jerez And Cadiz, we will drive back to Cadiz Port.
