La Almazara is located in Zahara de la Sierra, in the heart of the Sierra de Cádiz and the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park. With this wheelchair accessible Olive Oil Mill guided tour, you will learn the entire process that leads the olive to become oil.
This guided tour starts with a car pick up in Seville, Cádiz or Málaga through a scenery drive of Andalucia´s White Villages. We will finally reach the mountain area of Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park, and the unique charming village of Zahara de la Sierra, where we will reach the alzamara where local Olive Oil is produced following artisan production. Our visit of the alzamara will start with an explanatory introduction of the team, their story, the machines they use to produce the oil, the type of oil they have and how they store it. Next you will do a tasting with explanations of the process and the final result.
The facilities are accessible, since the tour takes place outside the facilities where you will see the machinery and inside where there are no steps along which the itinerary runs, they are all step-free. The only issue for some wheelchairs is that some parts have gravel pavement, so we suggest to be accompanied for assistance if necessary. We will do the tastings on the porch, but for greater comfort we can also make them in the garden, which is easily accessed. Do not miss this wheelchair accessible artisan Olive Oil Mill guided tour, you will love it!
