This accessible experience will start by visiting Caldera de Bandama, a Protected Natural Area, which is the most spectacular example of recent volcanism in Gran Canaria. We will make a panoramic visit and stop at the Pico de Bandama viewpoint, from which we will see a panoramic view of the municipality of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Then, we will visit the picturesque Gran Canaria town of Teror, where we will make a panoramic tour, admiring its abundance of colonial architecture and its charming churches.
The tour will continue visiting the town of Tejeda, located in the mountainous central region of Gran Canaria. The natural surroundings of this area are characterised by the large woods of Canarian pine, which at present also share space with a large colony of almond trees. We will stop at Cruz de Tejeda and enjoy a viewpoint with unique views of the Caldera de Tirajana and the Parque Rural del Nublo. Afterwards, we will visit Bodegas Bentayga, an accessible local wine cellar where we will enjoy wine tasting and artisan cheese.
As the last stop in this exclusive Las Palmas Shore Excursion, we will visit the beautiful city of Arucas, where we will stroll through the streets and visit from outside the Church of San Juan Bautista, neo-Gothic in style, in neo-Gothic style, with sculptures of Italian origin and paintings from the Flemish and Andalusian schools.
