Enjoy our full day accessible excursion to Finisterre and Costa da Morte from A Coruña. The rugged Coast of Death, is an ancient part of the country, with legends dating back to the Celts and Romans. You will learn the history—and see the sights—of this stunning coastal area on this daylong tour.
Leaving A Coruña, we will head to one of the most mystical and special places an hour and a quarter by car, Cabo Vilan. The steepness of its Cape, as well as the shipwrecks that have happened in this area give this lighthouse a special and mystical character. After that, we will head to the Sanctuary of the Virgen de la Barca in Muxía, beautifully located on the seafront. According to tradition, Our Lady appeared to the apostle St. James at this place.
After this, we will head to the End of the World, Finisterre Lighthouse. Celts, Romans and pilgrims have come to this place for thousands of years, considering it the end of the Earth, as one of the most emblematic of Galicia and Europe. All this will be waiting for us at Cape Finisterre so that we can enjoy an unparalleled ride. We will also visit the town of Finisterre where we will enjoy the local gastronomy at a suggested restaurant with an adapted toilet and flat level entry without barriers.
Finally, as a last stop in our accessible excursion to Finisterre and Costa da Morte from A Coruña, we will visit the Ézaro Waterfall, this spectacular waterfall is the only one that runs straight into the sea. Access is very comfortable as it has a modern walkway adapted for anyone with reduced mobility. After enjoying such amazing natural scenery we will drive back to A Coruña and you will be dropped off in time by the Cruise port.
