Explore the Montseny Natural Park, a charming environment, full of natural and cultural wealth, with this geocaching accessible route. We will follow a circular route of the park making different stops to capture the natural diversity that it offers. The itinerary has an audio guide from the app Stqry Guide resource, and a game of clues for the search for hidden “treasures” from Geocaching.com.
There are 2 different games to enjoy together with your kids, friends and family. Els secrets dels parcs (The secrets of the Parks) tells you different elements that the park has, hidden in the forest. The second game is L’anima dels parcs (The soul of the Parks) on which you will discover some of the many activities that can be done in the Park: recognize the birds, learn about the history and heritage of its spaces, or obtain resources such as firewood…
The route begins at the Can Casades Information Center where they will advise us on services and general equipment of the park. In addition, we will visit the permanent exhibition installed in the reserve of the Montseny biosphere and see the two multimedia audiovisuals available. Afterwards, we will visit Pont de la riera de Santa Fe where we will enjoy the fantastic environment where the salamander and the red frog live.
In Santa Fe we will find the beech forests, they are the best-known forests in all of Montseny, since, after the holm oak, the beech is the most widespread tree in the natural park. Finally, we will stop at Font del Frare, one of the most visited places in Santa Fe. In the natural park, the water is one of the most valuable and necessary natural resources and constitutes one of the main riches.
